PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber mold for manufacturing a casting mold not causing a problem such as shape defects or the like in a finally obtained cast product by certainly preventing the peel between a rubber and a metal sheet, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The rubber mold is equipped with a rubber part 20 having a template surface for obtaining the tread pattern of a tire and the metal sheet 2 fixed to the rubber part 20 to reinforce the rubber part 20. The metal sheet 2 has through-holes 3A and 3B at least at one place and also has a sandwich structure so as to be held from both sides in its thickness direction by the rubber part 20.
