METHOD FOR ASSESSMENT OF ABSOLUTE DRUG PENETRABILITY INTO ORGANISM TISSUES

A method for assessment of absolute drug penetrability into organism tissues comprises the calculation of area under curve of drug concentration in blood and in organs for different time periods after drug introduction by a "method of trapezoids" formula. They are divided by corresponding values of the drug concentrations in the tissues and by calculated integrals of the drug concentrations in blood at an endless exposure. After that the values inverse to the equilibrium partition constant and drug’s quantity incoming from blood to the test organ’s unit volume are determined by the regression analysis of obtained data. The absolute drug penetrability into tissues (organs) is determined on the basis of the result obtained from the dividing of drug’s quantity incoming from blood to the test organ by the value of drug dose introduced into organism._
