An elastomer covering for an insulator is made of silicon polymer composition of additive vulcanization in the form of a one-piece-cast cylindrical body with ring ribs having a cone deepening in the bottom. The covering is made of vulcanized liquid two-component silicon rubber on the basis of components A and B with a ratio of 1:1 (mass p.), which includes active fillers.
