The flat tube heat exchanger has a housing (2) with first and second housing parts (21, 22), the first containing a working region (211), a first connecting region (212) enclosing the working region and a raised edge (213) between the regions. The second housing part rests on the first part and has a cover region (221) and a second connecting region (222). Adhesive is applied between the first and second connecting regions and joins them together.
