<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten reading time of bar codes and to sharply increase its number of person for processing with a gate opening/closing device where an entrance ticket to which the bar codes are attached is used. <P>SOLUTION: The bar codes 6 attached to the front surface of the entrance ticket 5A are read by two bar code readers 31, 32 having predetermined intervals.
