PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving handrail for a passenger conveyor formed in a tension body from every material, capable of easily preventing a component wire from getting loose at an end. SOLUTION: In the moving handrail for the passenger conveyor having the tension body comprising a plurality of component wires having a longitudinal direction formed in an endless shape and extending along the longitudinal direction, for example, a wire rope 6, a solidifying substance, for example, an adhesive 8 is filled in a clearance of the component wires at the end of the wire rope 6 to integrate the component wires.
