PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome the drawbacks of a conventional vacuum cleaner that the number of parts increases and a structure is complicated since the vacuum cleaner is provided with a ball and a guide means so as to lock a lid in a closed state. SOLUTION: A dust collecting case is provided with a locking means for locking the lid to an opening of the dust collecting case, a cleaner body is provided with a blocking means for blocking the closure of a dust collecting lid in a state where the dust collecting case is detached from a dust collecting part, and a recessed part for housing a part of the locking means is formed in the blocking means.
