Intended is to provide a railway vehicle transmission system, which can constitute an intra-train network high in redundancy and excellent in maintenance. Each of transmitters (1) disposed individually in a plurality of vehicles includes a transmission relay control device (4) for controlling a transmission port, a transmission station (7) for setting a transmission station address in its own transmitter on the basis of an instruction of the transmission relay control device and for sending/receiving the data with the transmission port, and a bypass device (8) for keeping a transmission path (3) between the two adjoining ones of that transmitter even in case the transmission relay control device or the transmission port breaks down. The transmission system is characterized in that the transmission station of each transmitter automatically sets the transmission station address in its own transmitter, even in case the bypass device of another transmitter acts, on the basis of the instruction from the transmission relay control device. |
