METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING LOCATION INFORMATION OF A BUS BETWEEN PORTABLE COMMUNICATION TERMINALS

A method for transmitting information about the location of a bus between mobile communication terminals is provided to enable the other user positioned at a destination to check easily the current location and estimated time of arrival of the other user in getting on a bus at the other position, thereby improving convenience in use. A method for transmitting information about the location of a bus between mobile communication terminals comprises the following steps of: collecting information about the location of a desired bus through bus drive information in a random bus stop by using a mobile communication terminal(100)(S202); transmitting the ID(Identification) code of a corresponding bus to the mobile communication terminal of the other party(102) positioned at a destination through a mobile communication network in boarding the bus of which the location information is collected(S204,S206); collecting the current location information of a bus which the mobile communication terminal user of the other party boards by using the ID code in receiving the ID code of the bus through the mobile communication network(S210); and calculating and displaying the estimated time of arrival of the bus in checking the location information of the bus(S214).
