An electro-acoustic transducer and an assembling method thereof are provided to reduce a manufacturing time by allowing integrated external housing to form an integral part of a magnetic circuit. An electro-acoustic transducer includes a magnetic circuit, housing(106), and an acoustic coil. The magnetic circuit includes a permanent magnetic assembly. The permanent magnetic assembly has first and second permanent magnet. The first and second permanent magnets are arranged on sides which face air gap. The outer housing portion is magnetically permeable and forms an integral part. The acoustic coil is connected to be operable with diaphragm and is located inside the air gap.
