<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate a target and an unnecessary object while maintaining the quality of the image without performing image processing like smoothing image filtering in an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus 10 has an ultrasonic probe 11 and an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus body 12. The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus body 12 comprises an ultrasonic transmission/receiving part 21, an image reconstruction part 24, a display control part 25 and a display device 14. The ultrasonic transmission/receiving part 21 transmits/receives ultrasonic waves according to conditions for transmission/receiving, which are different between a first image and a second image expressing one image, and obtains scanning line signals for the first image and scanning line signals for the second image. The image reconstruction part 24 reconstructs the first and second images based on the scanning line signals.
