PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine in which the player can select a performance displayed on an image display even for a normal game according to the game history information recorded for each one of game players on a game history medium. SOLUTION: When a player inserts a game history medium 20 to a card inserting inlet 8, a game display controller 19 specifies selectable characters based on the game history inputted from the game history medium 20, then a selecting means 22 selects a character out of the specified selectable characters, and a performance controller 19 controls a performance display 10 so that a performance with images including the selected character is displayed according to a lottery result inputted from a main controller 18. When a player does not insert a game history medium 20 to a card inserting inlet 8, the performance controller 19 controls the performance display 10 so that a performance with images including a standard character is displayed according to a lottery result inputted from the main controller 18.
