PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiving apparatus capable of reducing the phase noise of a digital signal. SOLUTION: The receiving apparatus 1 is provided with: an input means 10 for inputting a receiving signal; a channel selection instruction means 20 for instructing the frequency of a local oscillation signal; a local oscillation signal generating means for generating a local oscillation signal having the instructed frequency; a phase rotation quantity determination means 24 for determining phase rotation quantity for shifting the phases of two signals, i.e. the local oscillation signal and the receiving signal; and a frequency conversion means 16 for removing the signal of one frequency corresponding to the phase rotation quantity out of a frequency higher than the frequency of the local oscillation signal by a fixed intermediate frequency and a frequency lower than the frequency of the local oscillation signal by the intermediate frequency by performing phase-shifting of the two signals and mixing them respectively by the determined phase rotation quantity, and then converting the signal of the other frequency into the signal of the intermediate frequency.
