PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for a mold which dissolves the defect in the flow of gypsum slurry in a rubber mold product face so as to prevent occurrence of air remaining, further improves releasability of a gypsum mold from a rubber mold after the solidification of the gypsum slurry, and prevents occurrence of defects such as chipping and cracking of the mold in mold releasing, and which has excellent molding performance and releasing performance from the rubber mold, and to provide a gypsum mold using the same. SOLUTION: The composition for a mold is obtained by mixing foamed gypsum and non-foamed gypsum as base material, with a dimethylsilicone oil aqueous solution containing fine mineral powder and emulsified with a surfactant, and water.
