<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reader/writer 10 capable of quickly recognizing, among a plurality of optical fiber cables 20 installed, a corresponding relation of one end with the other end of each optical fiber cable 20. <P>SOLUTION: When a signal for instructing data read-out inside an IC chip 23 attached to an end of the optical fiber cable 20 is received through the optical fiber cable 20, the reader/writer 10 reads out the data from the IC chip 23 by radio communication and transmits the read-out data through the optical fiber cable 20. In addition, when an instruction for writing in data in a RF tag and the data to write in are received through the optical fiber cable 20, the reader/writer 10 writes in the IC chip 23 the writing instruction and the write-in data by radio communication. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
