<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system, an image forming apparatus and a controller for the image forming apparatus which enables group paper ejection in a tandem mode and enables allocation recovery, as required. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming system can perform the tandem mode in which image formation associated with one image formation job is shared by the plurality of image forming apparatuses. The image forming system includes a tandem mode performance instruction input means; and a control means that allocates performance of the image formation, from a top page to a first page in the one image formation job to one image forming apparatus after receiving the performance instruction of the tandem mode, allocates performance of the image formation from a page next to the first page to an end page to the other image forming apparatus and that controls the two image forming apparatuses so that the one image forming apparatus performs image formation at the top page side, in the ascending order of the pages in a group output form, and the other image forming apparatus performs image formation at the end page side, in the descending order of the pages in the group output form. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
