Structural component has a protective coating comprising a scratch protection layer over a UV protection layer that contains an organic UV absorber and is more than 10 mu m thick. An independent claim is also included for coating a structural component by applying a UV protection layer as above and applying a scratch protection layer as above over the UV protection layer.
