<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To electrically connect a process unit and a main substrate by a single connection member and perform a harness process, in an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The main substrate 40 (shield 41) and a periphery part 31b of a unit mounting part 31, on which a freely detachable process unit is mounted, are connected by means of the connection member 45 made of metal. A harness placing space 34 is formed between a pair of wall portions 43 and 44 which are disposed between the unit mounting part 31 and the main substrate 40, so that the harness H connecting the main substrate 40 and a sub-substrate 42 is placed. The intermediate portion 45b of the connection member 45 is disposed across the harness placing space 34, thereby holding the harness H so that the harness H is held not to be scattered. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
