PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a footstep roller device for a passenger conveyor capable of preventing drop-out of a footstep roller. SOLUTION: The circulated/moved footstep 4 is supported on a truss. A footstep shaft 9 for a drive roller is provided on the footstep 4. The drive roller 10 is rotatably provided on the footstep shaft 9 for drive roller. A drop-out prevention body 16 integrally rotatable with the drive roller 10 is mounted to a side surface of the drive roller 10. A displacement restriction groove 18 inserted with the drop-out prevention body 16 is provided on an outer peripheral surface of the footstep shaft 9 for drive roller along a rotation direction of the dropout prevention body 16.
