PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a manufacturing process of a carton containing sanitary tissue paper, which is capable of preventing such defects or troubles as cause the sanitary tissue paper to be damaged. SOLUTION: The manufacturing process of a carton (1) containing sanitary tissue paper has the steps of: forming an upper surface 2, a bottom surface 3, a pair of side surfaces 6 and a pair of end surfaces 8, and forming a cutting line 14 for shaping a sanitary tissue paper takeout opening on one of the preceding surfaces; arranging a window film 20 on the reverse side of the surface on which the cutting line 14 for shaping a takeout opening is formed so that the window film overcoats the cutting line 14 for shaping a takeout opening; forming an angularly cylindrical carton 101 having the upper surface 2, the bottom surface 4, and the pair of side surfaces 6, with an end surface 8a on the side of the continuously formed portion of a bonding section 24 being opened, wherein the bonding section 24 annularly surrounds the cutting line 14 for shaping a takeout opening and is pasted to the reverse side of the surface on which the cutting line 14 for shaping a takeout opening is formed, the bonding section 24 being such that its portion on the side of an end surface 8a of one part is continuously formed and another of its portion on the side of an end surface 8b of the other part is made into a non-continuous section 24a; and inserting a bunch of sanitary tissue paper 103 from the opened end surface 8a side of the angularly cylindrical carton 101.
