A composite fiber profile beam (1) is encased within a substrate material (3) extending along the longitudinal axis (2) in-line with the composite fiber core zone (5). The substrate case material (3) is a duroplastic composite carbon fiber laminate (4), while the core zone is packed with a thermoplastic filling agent (6). The thermoplastic filler (6) is a prefabricated rope of essentially triangular cross section. The duroplastic composite fiber laminate (4) is a prepreg laminate or injection laminate.
