<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact liquid crystal display device having high luminance while suppressing a luminance variation for every product of the compact liquid crystal display device used for a mobile phone and having a backlight. <P>SOLUTION: The luminance variation is greatly caused by a variation of the distance between a light source LED 9 and a light guide plate 12. Such a structure that the light guide plate 12 can be moved in a direction y to a resin mold 3 after the light guide plate 12 and the LED 9 are assembled in the resin mold 3 is adopted by forming a combination part 41 of the light guide plate 12 and the mold 3 in a special shape and as a result, the light guide plate 12 can be brought near to the LED 9. Since the distance between the light guide plate 12 and the LED 9 can be changed after product assembling, the liquid crystal display having high luminance and the narrow luminance variation for every product can be attained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
