PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve new problems in checking a highly technological product that is expensive, can be customized and updated and also comprises emotional value, by providing an approach completely different from conventional products for a casing for a personal communication device. SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a casing for a personal communication device, partitioning an internal space for housing an engine and comprising a front face including a user interface comprising a plurality of user input members, and a back face. The front face of the casing is constituted of any material in a first group of precious metals, precious stone and ceramics, and the back face of the casing is constituted of any material in a second group of precious metals and ceramics.
