METHOD OF OPERATION OF THERMAL POWER STATION

FIELD: heat power engineering; thermal power stations. ^ SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method of operation of thermal poser station, steam is generated in boiler to which natural gas and air are delivered into boiler, and steam produced in boiler is directed to turbine whose shaft is connected with rotor of turbogenerator. Cooling of windings and core of generator is provided by hydrogen circulating through its inner space. Hydrogen is cooled in gas coolers in which natural gas delivered to boiler furnace is used as cooling medium. Gas pressure is reduced to required pressure in vortex tube, and cold gas flow is used for cooling turbogenerator. Hot gas flow is delivered into boiler furnace bypassing gas coolers. ^ EFFECT: increased economy of thermal power station owing to use of heat of windings and core of turbogenerator in operating cycle of thermal power station. ^ 1 dwg
