SELF-DRILLING ANCHOR

A self-drilling anchor having a self-drilling function comprises a body (10) and a pin (1), and the body (10) comprises a head (11) and a shaft portion (12) extending downward from the head (11). The head (11) has a shape similar to that of a hexagon bolt so as to enable engaging with a rotating portion of an electric rotary tool. The shaft portion (12) is columnar-shaped to have a predetermined diameter, and has a spiral-shaped groove (41) in an outer peripheral surface thereof. A hole (15) having a predetermined inner diameter is formed in a shaft center to extend from an upper end of the body (10) toward a tip end thereof. Formed at a tip end of the shaft portion (12) is a slit (16) extending from the tip end to the hole (15) to divide the tip end into two halves. A drill bit (20) for drilling is fitted into and held by the slit (16). The pin (1) is fitted into the hole (15) of the body (10) to form a self-drilling anchor. <IMAGE> <IMAGE>
