PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire-shape measurement device capable of measuring cross-sectional shape of tread under conditions of tire loading to a vehicle, excluding factors of lowering of measurement precision or incapable measurement due to a hand movement and failure of positioning. SOLUTION: The tire shape measurement device which are equipped with a scanning section 6 including an optical sensor capable of measuring the distance to a tire surface and a driving section capable of scanning the optical sensor in the direction of a tire width, scanning section holding sections 1a and 1b holding the scanning section 6, an abutting plate 2 prepared at one end of the scanning section holding sections 1a and 1b and an abutting plate 3 prepared at the other end of the scanning section holding sections 1a and 1b to be movable in the scanning direction, is characterized by incorporating the scanning section 6 detachable to the scanning section holding sections 1a and 1b.
