METHOD AND REACTOR FOR PRODUCING FINE GRAINED CARBON BLACK

A method and a reactor for producing carbon black. The reactor is made in such a manner that a plasma generator is placed in the end wall with possibility of axial displacement, and in the process of combustion of gaseous hydrocarbon fuel with air the oxygen-containing gas is fed coaxially with the reactor zone of thermo-decomposition with the temperature of 3000-4000C and heat power of 10-15 % of one which is released at the combustion of gaseous hydrocarbon fuel. This allows to produce fine grained carbon black of different modifications with decreasing energy consumption.
