An electronic steering apparatus is provided to compensate for clearance between a worm and a worm wheel by including an elastic member elastically supporting a worm shaft at an angle changing in an axial direction of the worm shaft according to rotation of the worm shaft. An electronic steering apparatus comprises: a housing(301), a worm wheel(303) included inside the housing, a worm shaft(305) engaged with the worm wheel inside the housing, a bearing(307) mounted on an outer circumference of one end of the worm shaft and an elastic member(309) supporting the one end at an angle changing in an axial direction of the worm shaft according to rotation of the worm shaft, a first support unit(311) equipped at one end of the elastic member, a second support unit(313) contacted to the first support unit, a fixing member(314) equipped at the other end of the elastic member and an absorbing member(315) spaced by the bearing, which is equipped in an inner circumference of the housing. |
