An image processing method is provided to prevent image quality of an image from being deteriorated according to the brightness reduction of a display device by compensating the pixel value of an original image, thereby reducing power consumed in the display device. An image processing method comprises the following steps of: converting a first power level into a second power level(S530); dividing inputted image information into at least two groups of information so that an image outputted in the second power level can maintain image quality of an image outputted in the first power level(S540,S550); and outputting the image information processed by group in the second power level(S560).
