Battery charger and assembly

A combination comprising at least one battery charger 14 with a battery mounted on its exterior for charging is provided by a separate base 22 with a handle 78 which extends beyond the battery. The handle 78 suitably is formed of bars and may be detachable for the battery charger(s). The combination may also be provided with a protective structure. The application also describes and claims an arrangement in which two bases for battery charges can be joined together by their feet (Fig 72) and claims also a charger housing characterised by its relative dimensions.
