<p>The invention relates to a circuit arrangement comprising a semiconductor switch, a current measurement circuit for measuring the load-current through the semiconductor switch, and a control circuit, for limiting the current through the semiconductor switch. The inventive circuit arrangement comprises
a semiconductor switch (M 1 ) having a first load terminal (D 1 ), a second load terminal (S 1 ) and a control terminal (G 1 ), a current measurement circuit (10), and a control circuit (20), wherein the measurement circuit (10) is connected to the semiconductor switch (M 1 ) and is adapted for sensing a load-current (I L ) through the semiconductor switch providing a measurement signal (U S ) representing the load-current (I L ) and wherein the control circuit (20) provides a control signal (U G ) received by the control terminal (G 1 ) of the semiconductor switch (M 1 ), the control signal (U G ) being dependent on the potential (U D ) of the first load terminal (D 1 ) of said semiconductor switch (M 1 ) and on the measurement signal (U S ).</p> |
