A carbonizing apparatus for food wastes is provided to combust heated and exhausted gas completely by sending the heated and exhausted gas in a gas exhaust chamber to a second combustion chamber through a connection pipe. A carbonizing apparatus for food wastes comprises a first combustion chamber(7), a gas exhaust chamber(8), and a second combustion chamber(12). The first combustion chamber includes a main body case(2), screw cases, and screws. The main body case is formed with a burner(1) at the bottom. The screw cases are installed in parallel in the main body case at a regular interval. The screws revolve in the screw cases. The highest screw case has an inlet(5) at one end. The lowest screw case has an outlet(6) at one end. The gas exhaust chamber is communicated with the top of the main body case. The second combustion chamber is connected to the gas exhaust chamber via a connection pipe(9), connected to the bottom of the main body case via a circulation pipe(10), and provided with a burner(1) at the bottom and with an exhaust pipe(11).
