A tool box is provided to reduce manufacturing costs by keeping different types of tools through a single tool mounting plate. A tool box includes a tool mounting plate(1) having a plurality of positioning portions, a tool fixing portion(2), and a positioning end(6). The tool fixing portion includes a handle mounting end(3) which has a recessed part for insertion of a handle part of a tool, a tool head fixing end(5) which is recessed at the opposite side from the handle mounting end for insertion of a head part of the tool, and an opening(4) formed between the handle mounting end and the tool head fixing end so as to allow a worker to take out a tool through the opening. The positioning end has a central portion with a hole so as to tighten the tool mounting plate onto the tool box.
