An apparatus and a method for relaying between a base station and a mobile station, and a control information receiving method are provided to enable the base station to allocate dedicated resources to a relay station previously before control information is generated in the relay station, so that relay station can transmit the control information to the base station as minimizing time delay. In a relay method of a first relay station(200) for relaying between a mobile station(300) and a base station(100), the method comprises the following steps of: requesting the base station to allocate a resource required for transmitting control information about the mobile station to the base station if an event related to the mobile station is generated(S401,S407); and transmitting the control information to the base station through the resource if the control information about the mobile station is generated(S413).
