A novel naphthalene compound, its enantiomers or its pharmaceutically acceptable addition salt, a method for preparing the compound, and a pharmaceutical composition containing the compound are provided to treat the disorder of melatonin system. A naphthalene compound is represented by the formula I. The compound of the formula I is prepared by treating the compound represented by the formula II with dimethyl carbonate in a basic medium to obtain the compound represented by the formula III; reducing the compound represented by the formula III in the presence of hydrazine to obtain the compound represented by the formula IV; and condensing the compound represented by the formula IV with ethyl fluoroacetate to obtain the compound represented by the formula I.
