SURGICAL LASER SYSTEM WITH REMOTE CONTROL FUNCTIONALITY

A surgical laser system with a remote control function is provided to reduce learning curves for a basic unit less than that of a function-equipped system and to apply the basic unit for undesirable situations or procedures by an all-in-one unit. A surgical laser system capable of being controlled remotely has a laser surgical unit(100) operated to form a first functional set. The laser surgical unit is controlled through a communication port(110) to form a second functional set. At least some of the second functional set is different from the first functional set. The laser surgical unit does not execute at least some of the second functional set by standalone configurations. The second functional set is a superset of the first functional set.
