A process for efficiently producing a biaxially oriented polyamide-based resin film roll capable of bag-making processing through laminating smoothly with high yield. There is provided a process for producing a polyamide-based resin film roll, comprising the melting extruding cooling step of conducting melt extrusion of a polyamide-based resin in the form of a sheet and cooling of the extrudate on the surface of a moving cooling body to thereby obtain an unoriented sheet; the biaxial drawing step of biaxially drawing the unoriented sheet in the lengthwise direction and lateral direction; and the take-up step of winding in roll form the biaxially oriented film resulting from the biaxial drawing. In the melting extruding cooling step, during the melt extrusion of the polyamide-based resin and cooling of the extrudate on the surface of the moving cooling body, streamer corona discharge is carried out between an electrode having a direct current high voltage applied thereto and a molten polyamide-based resin sheet to thereby realize application of satisfactory charges for bringing the molten polyamide-based resin sheet into close contact with the surface of the moving cooling body. |
