A method and an apparatus for providing tour information through wireless Internet service using hot codes are provided to offer information on Korean cultural assets to foreign tourists in their languages so as to activate domestic tourism. A terminal accesses wireless Internet using a hot code(S503). A code analysis server receives a wireless Internet access request message including the hot code(S507). The code analysis server extracts a language code and a cultural-asset code from the hot code(S509). A tour information providing server receives the language code and the cultural-asset code from the code analysis server and searches an internal database for a tour information file corresponding to the language code and the cultural-asset code(S511,S513). The tour information providing server transmits the searched tour information file to the terminal(S517).
