A centralized address allocation method in a PAN(Personal Area Network) is provided to enable the first apparatus of the PAN to allocate addresses of all apparatuses sequentially which are connected to the self, thereby increasing efficiency during address distribution, consequently reliability can be increased. The first generated apparatus has an address allocation table. The first generated apparatus sequentially allocates addresses to apparatuses which demand connection by using the address allocation table. After the addresses are allocated by using an address allocation method, the most recently used address value is stored in the most allocated address value. Even though various PANs are simultaneously generated and demand the addresses, the addresses are allocated without duplication.
