An automatic butt welding device of a plasma panel plate is provided to improve productivity and to keep favorable welding quality, by finishing a welding operation by forming a dihedral bead by one process. An automatic butt welding device of a plasma panel plate comprises a trolley(101,102), a plasma welding system(103), a general welding system(104), a control board(105), a girder(110), a head back and forth driving motor(201), a carriage(202), a head lateral moving slide(210), a head lateral driving motor(211), a vertical moving slide(220), a head vertical driving motor(221), and a wire reel(230). The trolley is installed at both sides of a traveling rail(100), and moved along the traveling rail by a wheel. The plasma welding system and the general welding system are installed at an upper surface of the trolley to perform plasma and general welding functions. The control board is installed at the upper surface of the trolley which is opposed to the other trolley. The girder connects the trolleys and has a rail(111), to move a head unit(200). The head back and forth driving motor is installed at the girder to drive the head unit back and forth. The carriage is moved along the rail by the head back and forth driving motor. The head lateral moving slide is combined with the carriage to move the head unit laterally. The head lateral driving motor drives the head lateral moving slide. The vertical moving slide is connected with the carriage to move a torch portion vertically. The head vertical driving motor drives the vertical moving slide. The wire reel is installed at an upper part of the carriage to supply a wire to the torch portion.
