The inner LCD panel and outer LCD panel (70) in a portable computer, are arranged between the inner cover and outer cover (60) such that the rear face of outer LCD panel faces the rear face of the inner LCD panel. A main frame is arranged between the LCD panels. A plate connects the outer LCD panel of the main frame. An independent claim is included for LCD device forming method.
