A voice message service method using a text/speech conversion function in a mobile communication network is provided to convert text which a user wants to send into a particular voice, so that the voice can be delivered to the other party by using an MMS(Multimedia Messaging Service) function, thereby stimulating interest in accordance with voice message transmission. When wireless Internet is connected between a voice conversion server and a sending mobile communication terminal by a user, the server displays a text input screen(S101). If the user inputs a desired text message, the server receives the message while displaying a voice selection screen(S102). If the user selects a voice of a desired person, the server extracts voice combination of the person from a voice DB to change the extracted combination into a voice file of the person(S103). The server transmits the voice file of the person to a receiving mobile communication terminal by interworking with an MMS server(S104).
