A VAP(Vision Auto Probe) and an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel testing method using the same are provided to find the badness cause of the LCD panel quickly, thereby improving the production yield of an LCD device by reflecting the found cause to all production equipment of the LCD device. A VAP(50) comprises a work table, a camera(54), a camera support frame(55), a communication unit, an input unit, a storage unit, an output unit, and a control unit. An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel is placed on the work table. The LCD panel passes only a CPS(Cell cutting Process) and does not pass a grinding process. The camera receives the image information of the LCD panel operated on the work table. The camera support frame moves the camera to an X or Y axis in the upper end of the LCD panel. The communication unit performs communication with external process equipment. The input unit receives various information from a user. The storage unit stores the information inputted from the camera or the user. The output unit outputs the information inputted from the camera or the user. The control unit analyzes the location information of bad pixels by using the image information of the LCD panel inputted from the camera while controlling the each part and transmits the analyzed information to the external process equipment through the communication unit. |
