A transmission is provided to facilitate an air flow inside the transmission by increasing a size of an air circulating groove in an air breather. A transmission includes an air breather which prevents a pressure rise due to a rise in an oil temperature. The air breather includes an oil chamber(60), an air circulating groove(80), and an oil leakage preventer(90). The oil chamber is formed inside a case of the transmission. The air circulating groove is arranged to circulate air in the oil chamber. The oil leakage preventer is rotatably arranged on the air circulating groove and prevents the oil from permeating into the oil chamber through the air circulating groove.
