VERIFICATION METHOD AND VERIFIER

A verification method and a verifier are provided to check whether a recording/reproducing apparatus processes temporary disk management area information properly by sending a reproducing command to verify a disk when carrying out reproduction and sending a recording command to check whether a TDMA structure is updated on the disk properly when carrying out recording. A verification method includes the steps of: preparing a test disk; transmitting a reproducing command to a recording/reproducing apparatus on which the test disk is loaded to verify the disk and reproduction; and transmitting a reproducing command to the recording/reproducing apparatus to check whether a TDMA(Temporary Disk Management Area) structure is updated on the disk and to verify change operation.
