DIRECT ALCOHOL FUEL CELL

A direct alcohol fuel cell is provided to minimize fuel consumption during non-use by improving a fuel supply structure, and to allow uniform fuel supply over the whole surface of an anode regardless of angle. A direct alcohol fuel cell comprises a membrane electrode assembly having an anode(110), an electrolyte membrane(120) and a cathode(130) stacked successively, a fuel chamber(200) in which an alcohol is stored as fuel, and a fuel supply section for supplying the alcohol of the fuel chamber to the anode. In the direct alcohol fuel cell, the fuel supply section comprises: a spreader(300) for receiving the alcohol of the fuel chamber and distributing the alcohol uniformly over the whole surface of the anode; a supply control unit for supplying the alcohol of the fuel chamber toward the inlet provided in the spreader in an on/off controllable manner; and a buffer(400) disposed between the spreader and the anode for passing the alcohol restrictively toward the anode.
