A direction indicator lamp for a vehicle is provided to prevent an accident by improving concentration of a driver by not requiring an operation of a switch to turn off the direction indicator lamp. Direction indicator lamps are arranged at left and right sides of front and rear portions of a vehicle. A lane change switch(20) selects a lighting direction of the direction indicator lamp according to a lane change direction. A power supply(30) supplies power to the direction indicator lamp. A flash portion(40) intermittently turns off the power which is supplied from the power supply to the direction indicator lamp. A controller(50) activates a timer when an operation state of the lane change switch is received. The controller controls the flash portion, so that the direction indicator lamp is turned off after a predetermined time. |
