METHOD FOR ADJUSTING SCREEN CONVERSION TIME IN AUTOMATIC TELLER MACHINE AND AUTOMATIC TELLER MACHINE USING THE SAME

A screen conversion time adjusting method in an ATM(Automated Teller Machine) and the ATM using the same are provided to prevent financial transaction service from stopping due to the input delay of a user by supplying the optimized time-out to the user. An ATM(200) is composed of a screen conversion monitoring unit(210) for measuring the required time corresponding to screen conversion by monitoring a screen conversion motion of the ATM; a statistics computation unit(220) for taking the statistics of the required time corresponding to screen conversion by using data about the measured required time; and a time-out adjusting unit(230) for adjusting a time-out corresponding to screen conversion by using the output statistics. The statistics computation unit takes the mean of the measured required time.
