LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY PANEL

A liquid crystal display panel that can be produced at low cost by the use of inexpensive alkali glass in at least an opposed substrate, and that due to no need of applying thermal treatment in the production process, is free from the problem of liquid crystal display caused by panel warpage attributed to the same, and that despite any change of ambient temperature at use, is free from any panel warpage leading to the problem of liquid crystal display, attributed to differences of thermal expansion coefficient. There is provided a liquid crystal display panel comprising an array glass substrate and, arranged opposed thereto, an opposed glass substrate and comprising a liquid crystal filling the interspace between the substrates and an ultraviolet hardening resin sealing the periphery thereof, wherein the opposed glass substrate is an alkali glass substrate, and wherein the difference of thermal expansion coefficient between the array glass substrate and the opposed glass substrate is 35 x 10<SUP>-7</SUP>/°C or less.
