The invention relates to a cleaning device for paint rollers, comprising a working medium inlet and an integrated process water outlet. Said cleaning device allows the paint roller to be cleaned and dried in a very short period of time exclusively with the aid of the working and cleaning medium water that is tapped from a domestic water pipe, for example, at a normal pressure of 4 to 6 bar, and by means of a centrifugal force, without using a mechanical or electrical drive unit or compressed air. The system is accelerated to about 1,000 rpm by means of the water jets that preferably affect the roller in a tangential direction such that the remaining rotational speed is sufficient to spin the excess water out of the roller and dry the roller as desired when the cleaning medium is shut off abruptly. |
